1979
- A review on the Rehabilitation Programme Plan took place and a pilot project on early intervention for handicapped children aged 0-6 and their families was proposed.
1978
- Enrolment of children increased from 90 to 110.
1977
- The Club registered with the Social Welfare Department under the Child Care Centres Ordinance 1975.
1976
- Kowloon Centre was renamed as the Mary Wong Centre to commemorate the pass away of Mrs Mary Wong, the founder and ex-chairman of Heep Hong Club. The Centre was officially opened by Sir Lindsay Ride on February 21.
1975
- Kowloon Centre got a permanent home in Ho Man Tin Estate and extended its service to a full-time basis.
1974

A full-time supervisor was appointed and the centres began to enrol children with mental and physical disabilities. The Club's programme was evaluated and restructured to meet the changing needs of children.
1972
- Official opening of the Clubhouse by our patron, Lady MacLehose, on March 10.
1971
- Kowloon Centre moved to the Merchant Navy Sports Ground and Hong Kong Centre moved to the new permanent Clubhouse in Sandy Bay.
